Serving the Community, Burgundy Estate. Making his way to Richwood to patrol, Armed Response Officer Muller reported a couple arguing in the road at Indigo Drive, Burgundy Estate. He requested assistance and Armed Response Officer Weyers and Shift Commander de Kock responded. Officers van Biljon and Hugo also responded. It was reported that the couple had damaged their vehicle and required assistance after their friend had been assaulted with an ax. Officers van Biljon and Hugo stayed at the scene while the other officers were directed to a premises in Chitton Way, Richwood. SAPS Warrant Officers Ford and Steers came to take over the scene. After a heated argument, the resident from Chitton way said it was all a joke.
Serving the Community, Richwood. Armed Response Officer Marais was informed of a medical situation at a premises along Tygervalley Road, Richwood. He informed District Central that he would be attending to the call. Area Manager Swanepoel provided assistance. Upon arriving at the scene, they found a female that appeared to be convulsing. Officer Marais checked all her vitals and he suspected that she might have a possible rib injury as she winced in pain when he checked the side of her body. Fire and Rescue and ER24 arrived at the scene at approximately 20h05. They took over from the officers and transported her to Karl Bremer for further treatment.
